A Vision to Prepare the Next Generation
About Parousia
Parousia is a Greek word that means “in expectation of His coming.” It is a vision of the Christian Missionary Foundation in collaboration with other kingdom-minded Christian organisations in answer to God’s challenge of “raising for Him a generation that will be ready and prepared” to step into/take over from our present spiritual leaders in the Nigerian church before they are called home to glory.
Between 2013 and 2016, Parousia Conference was held centrally in Ibadan. However, from 2017, it was decentralised to accommodate a wider audience, particularly those who might not be able to travel to Ibadan. Currently, the conference is held annually in Ibarapa, Oyo Town, Ilesa, Ife, Osogbo, Akure, Ondo, Igbokoda, Ilorin, and Abuja. There are plans to expand to additional locations as opportunities arise, including Makurdi, Yola, Ekiti, Ogbomoso, Abeokuta, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Aba, Umuahia, Onitsha, and other key centres across the country, as the vision is nationwide in scope.
What We See!
Parousia sees an army of humble and contrite people functioning in extraordinary times as a chosen generation of servant leaders linked in spirit and truth, functioning through a support network around the world, fulfilling God’s purposes in the order of Joseph and Daniel.
They are and will be:
A people of character, forged and tied to the pillars of clarity and discernment in confusing times.
A people of faith, entrusted with nurturing responsibility in the on-going development of the Kingdom on earth.
A people of righteousness dynamically moving as a channel of provision to the needs of people, under the sovereignty of God.
A people of obedience preparing and implementing the channels from which God’s provision will outpour.
A people of humility, guiding and influencing in holiness: individuals, municipalities, regions, and nations for the increasing livelihood of humanity.
A people of wisdom, recognised for their knowledge and authority, operating in excellence.
What We Do
Bible Quiz / Memorisation
Aimed at making youth/students engage the scriptures. The Bible quiz holds in stages. It is opened to all Christian youths/students in churches/on campuses in Nigeria, with great prizes like certificates of participation, tablets, smart watches, branded T-shirts, etc.
A One-Day Conference
A gathering of Christian youths during which they are challenged with the Gospel, and altar calls are made for salvation, self-rededication, consecration, and commitments.
Leadership Summit
This 2-day event holds in the Christian Missionary Foundation, School of Missions, KM. 7, Igboora- Igangan Road, Idere, Oyo State, Nigeria. Here, top, effective current leaders campus/church youth fellowship groups are invited to engage with and build capacity of our youth leaders.
How You Can Be Involved
PRAY

MOBILISE
Create awareness within your circle of influence to participate in any event holding nearest to you.
GIVE
Give towards the administrative running of the office as well as hosting of these events.
