Our overall goal as a team is to plant one indigenous church this year and ask God to make it possible.
We also desire that five souls from the Akure diaspora unit receive God’s gracious gift of salvation.
Ask God to make these two desires possible.
Ask God to empower us and the churches with inner strength and grace through His Spirit to do His will in every aspect of our lives and to stand firm against all the strategies of the devil (Eph 3:16, 6:11).
Pray that the gospel seeds planted in the heart of the northern migrants will bear the fruit of salvation.
Pray that the migrants would see the emptiness of Islam and discover satisfaction in Christ (Ecclesiastes 2:11).
Ask God to protect, sustain, and supply all our needs from His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19). Amen.
